Phil Ingram Model Silvana Studio Shoot

Silvana is both a photographer and model. She has her own studio setup at her home on the Central Coast, and it was here where I first shot Silvana - it was a family shoot and we seemed to work well together. A couple of months later I had a studio at Tuggerah booked for a 3 hour session with a model who unfortunately for her fell down some stairs and broke her arm and elbow. So I asked Silvana if she would be interested in doing the studio shoot with me, and she grabbed at the opportunity.

For the shoot I used 3 lenses, a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 to emphasise Silvana's legs (which she considers her best assets), the Nikon 135 f/2 DC for headshots and the Nikon 85 F/1.8 for full body portraits. For the ligthing I stuck with the studio's stobes and large softboxes and triggers.

Silvana and I got on well together, I think the chemistry was there between model and photographer and this shows in the photos that we obtained. Both of us are more than happy with the results.

By the way. the studio is Exposure Studios and is incredible in the setup they have, and the props and the advice they are willing to give. I recommend it to any photographer and model.
